We believe a great investment experience requires established goals and regular communication. Once an investment is made, we evaluate our performance against the goals we have established with our investors while providing complete and consistent reporting through our investor portal.

George N. Cochran is co-founder and managing partner of Cochran Booth & Co. Mr. Cochran participates in all investment decisions and provides leadership to the firm’s officers and executives.

Mr. Cochran served as Chairman in the Global Financial Institutions Group at Macquarie Capital until his retirement in December 2014. Previously, he was the Chairman of Fox-Pitt Kelton Cochran Caronia Waller, which was acquired by Macquarie Capital in November 2009, and co-founder of its predecessor firm, Cochran Caronia Waller. Previously, Mr. Cochran was an investment banker at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and later served as Managing Director and Insurance Industry Head of Coopers & Lybrand Securities, LLC. Mr. Cochran also serves as a director of public and privately held companies, including Kemper Corporation, Lancer Insurance Company, and Signature Bank. He is also actively engaged in early stage investing through Hyde Park Angels and Northern Michigan Angels.

George N. Cochran

Mr. Cochran completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at Williams College and Principia College and received his Master's degree in Management from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. In addition, Mr. Cochran is a National Association of Corporate Directors (“NACD”) Governance Fellow and Board Leadership Fellow.

Mr. Cochran lives in Boca Grande, Florida and Maple City, Michigan with his wife, Barbara. In Maple City, Mr. Cochran oversees Three Barn Farm where he grows heirloom cider apples.

W. Turner Booth is co-founder and managing partner of Cochran Booth & Co. Mr. Booth participates in all investment decisions and oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm.

Before founding Cochran Booth & Co., Mr. Booth was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Cantor Fitzgerald in New York City. At Cantor, he served on the executive credit committee for real estate investments, coordinated the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate assets and companies, and organized the origination and securitization of more than $5B of debt secured by commercial real estate. Previously, Mr. Booth was an Associate of the real estate finance group at Winston & Strawn LLP.

Mr. Booth received a BA in Philosophy from the University of Michigan and earned a varsity letter as the starting long snapper for Michigan’s football team. Following a brief stint in the NFL, Mr. Booth returned to the University of Michigan Law School where he earned his JD. 

Mr. Booth lives in Glen Arbor, Michigan and Paris, France with his wife, Anne-Sophie, and son, Edgar.

Autumn Berden is Chief Financial Officer of Cochran Booth & Co.

Ms. Berden brings over 25 years of experience in accounting, tax planning, strategy initiatives, goal setting, capital raising, budgeting and investment analysis. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Lake Superior State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Ms. Berden’s professional interests include working with individuals and businesses to create solutions that increase profitability, spark ingenuity, and promote positive relationships within our community and environment.

Autumn Berden

She has been engaged in a wide variety of projects and industries including real estate, oil and gas, agriculture, construction, and professional services. 

Ms. Berden lives with her family and 2 dogs in Traverse City, Michigan.

Daniel Marvin is Director of Multifamily Real Estate at Cochran Booth & Co. and is the President of the Firm’s manufactured housing property management affiliate, Manitou Communities.

Following his passion for investing, Mr. Marvin joined the Firm in 2019. As Director of Multifamily Real Estate, Mr. Marvin executes the Firm’s multifamily investment strategy and provides operational and financial oversight. As President of Manitou Communities, Mr. Marvin oversees property management of manufactured housing projects throughout Michigan.

Kelsey Duda is Director of Hospitality Real Estate at Cochran Booth & Co. and is the President of the Firm’s hospitality management affiliate, Fernhaus Studio.

Ms. Duda joined the Firm in 2021 with an eye towards taking her passion for design and hospitality to the next level. As Director of Hospitality Real Estate, Ms Duda executes the Firm’s hospitality investment strategy and designs and organizes experiences for our partners, investors, and clients. As President of Fernhaus Studio, she oversees hospitality management and consulting of real estate assets that include food, beverage, and lodging components.

Kelsey Duda

Ms. Duda earned a BA in Advertising & Public Relations from Grand Valley State University.

Ms. Duda lives in Elk Rapids, Michigan where she developed her flagship vacation rental – Fernhaus – from the ground up.
